Any person browsing the Platform is considered a User.

Use of the Platform implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

Article 1 – Acceptance and Amendment of the Terms of Use

Use of the Platform is subject to compliance with these Terms of Use.

COGES EVENTS reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time to reflect changes to the Platform, the services provided or the applicable regulations.


Article 2 – Intellectual Property

All elements comprising the Platform—including texts, articles, studies, reports, podcasts, conferences, videos, replays, interviews, photographs, logos, trademarks, illustrations, graphics, interfaces and multimedia content—are protected under the French Intellectual Property Code.

Any reproduction, representation, distribution, adaptation, translation or use, whether in whole or in part, without the prior written authorisation of COGES EVENTS is prohibited.

Content produced by contributors remains their intellectual property where applicable.


Article 3 – Creation of a User Account

Certain Platform features require the creation of a personal account.

When registering, Users may be asked to provide the following information:

  • - First name and surname;
  • - Professional email address;
  • - Company or organisation;
  • - Job title;
  • - Country;
  • - Password.

Users undertake to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Login credentials are strictly personal and confidential.

  • Users remain solely responsible for the use of their accounts.


Article 4 – Personal Data

Personal data collected when creating an account, registering for an event or using the Platform is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This processing is carried out for purposes including:

    • Managing user accounts;
    • Registering Users for conferences, webinars and events;
    • Providing access to restricted content;
    • Personalising the user experience;
    • Sending information about IDEAS events and content;
    • Improving the services provided.

Article 5 – Cookies

The Platform uses cookies that are necessary for its operation and, subject to the User’s consent, audience measurement and performance cookies.

Cookie preferences may be changed at any time through the cookie settings manager.


Article 6 – Services Provided

IDEAS enables Users to:

  • Access editorial content;
  • Register for in-person or virtual conferences;
  • Access replays;
  • Download certain resources;
  • Create a personal library of favourite content;
  • Receive newsletters and thematic alerts based on their stated preferences.

Certain features may require authentication.


Article 7 – Liability

COGES EVENTS makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information published.

However, the Platform may contain information provided by partners, experts or external contributors.

The opinions expressed in articles, conferences, interviews or podcasts are solely those of their authors and do not necessarily reflect the position of COGES EVENTS.

COGES EVENTS shall not be held liable for any errors, omissions or interruptions to the service.


Article 8 – Availability

The Platform is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, except in the event of interruptions due to maintenance, force majeure or circumstances beyond the control of COGES EVENTS.


Article 9 – Hyperlinks

The creation of hyperlinks to the Platform is subject to the prior authorisation of COGES EVENTS.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. COGES EVENTS has no control over these websites and accepts no responsibility for their content.


Article 10 – Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by French law.

Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris.
